Teaching, Training, and Research

Dr Mobini is  a Teaching Associate on PGDip Clinical Neuropsychology course at the Salomons Institute, Canterbury Christ Church University.

Dr Mobini worked as an academic and Lecturer at the University of East Anglia, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle (Australia), and Senior Lecturer in Neuropsychology at the Institute of Neuroscience, University College London (UCL). 

 

He also worked a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham and the University of Sussex. He is currently a Teaching Associate on PGDip Clinical Neuropsychology (online) course at Canterbury Christ Church University. He is also an Honorary Senior Research Associate with UCL and Senior Clinical and Conjoint Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle (Australia).

  • Division of Clinical Psychology Annual Conference, 22-23 January 2020, Poster entitled “Combined Computerised and Face-to-Face Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy in Treatment of Impulsivity in Acquired Brain Injury”. Winner of DCP Delegates’ Choice Poster Prize. 
  • British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Case Report Excellence Award, 2010, Manchester, UK. The Title: Treating a 33-year old man with severe learning disability for specific phobia: application of cognitive-behavioural interventions. “The judging committee thought that the approach taken to the particular challenges presented by this case was outstanding” (ref. BABCP Magazine, Dec. 2010).
